Terms of Use & Community Rules

1. Who can use Newbreeds

You must be 13 or older and provide an email we can reach you at. Newbreeds is free to sign up and to log your catches. A subscription unlocks premium features (crews, cloud backup, insights, and predictions) but is never required to record a catch.

2. Zero tolerance for objectionable content

Newbreeds has crew chat and shared photos. There is ZERO TOLERANCE for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree NOT to post content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or that invades someone's privacy, and NOT to impersonate or harass other anglers.

3. Reporting & blocking

Every catch, message, and profile can be reported (tap and hold, or the flag icon). You can block any user to immediately hide their content from you. We review reports and remove content or remove users that break these rules, typically within 24 hours. Content reported by several people is hidden automatically while we review it.

4. Consequences

Breaking these rules can get your content removed and your account terminated without refund.

5. Your content & location

You own what you post. Logging a catch records its GPS location; if you share a catch with a crew, that location is visible to your crewmates. Don't share spots you want to keep private.

6. Subscriptions

Premium is billed through the App Store / Google Play and renews until canceled. Manage or cancel it in your device's store settings.

7. Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and data anytime from the Account tab. This removes your catches, messages, crew memberships, and profile.

8. Data we collect

To run Newbreeds we collect: your email (sign-in and contact), the GPS location of catches you log, photos you attach, your display name, and chat messages. Catches and photos you share with a crew are visible to that crew. We use Supabase (database/auth/storage) and RevenueCat (subscriptions) as processors, and weather/tide/map providers that receive only an approximate location to return conditions. 9. Subscriptions, no warranty

Premium is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Conditions data (weather, tide, water temperature) and regulation notes are estimates for convenience only — always confirm current fishing regulations and limits with your state agency before keeping any fish.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Newbreeds is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app, shared locations, or reliance on conditions/regulation information.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
